This is a private site that lists all the freeware programs that I
like or thought might be useful for others. I created it so that I
could give my family & friends one site to get them all.
If you have arrived here, and not been referred by me, then congratulations! there are some great freeware programs here.
Where possible I have provided links for open-source software (open source refers to a program which is free to use and for which the source code is freely available) as I believe them to be safer that other freeware; however, there are other free programs here that have been around for a long time and are generally considered safe.
This site works differently than other freeware sites. It is a portal, that is, with a couple of exceptions, the links take you to the homepage of the originator of the software. In that way you can read for yourself what the program does and download the most recent version.
